麻文 Maaya – アーティスト & ヒーラー
東京に生まれ、名古屋で育った麻文（Maaya）は、高校時代に音楽と出会い、ドラムやギター、ボーカルとして東京のステージに立ちました。
1996年、2万人の中から選ばれヴァージン・トーキョー・レコードと契約。以降、世界のアーティストと共に創作を重ね、映画やCMにもその声は響いています。
現在はロサンゼルスを拠点に、心理療法士・ヒプノセラピストとしても活動。音楽と心の癒しを通して、人々に静かな安らぎと希望を届けています。
2022年より南カリフォルニア人気バンドの「チーム河内音頭」ボーカルで活躍、二度のアリゾナ公演にも参加。日本の音の優しさに目覚め、今年になって松豊佐藤師匠のもとで民謡も学び始めました。
11月8日の公演では、音楽家の小澤奈緒美（Naomi Ozawa）さんの三味線の響きにのせて北海道民謡「ソーラン節」を高らかに歌い届けます。
当日は音に集中していただくため、関係者以外の撮影はご遠慮ください。
**Maaya 麻文 – Artist & Healer**
Born in Tokyo and raised in Nagoya, Maaya began her musical journey as a high school percussionist, later performing as a drummer, guitarist, and vocalist throughout Tokyo’s live scene. In 1996, she was chosen from over 20,000 applicants by Virgin Tokyo Records and later signed with Sony Music Development Japan, writing and recording her original songs.
Now based in Los Angeles, Maaya continues to collaborate with producers around the world, her voice featured in films, commercials, and games. Alongside her music, Maaya is a **licensed psychotherapist and hypnotherapist**, dedicated to helping others heal emotionally and spiritually. Her work unites her two callings — **music and therapy** — both rooted in compassion, empathy, and the power of healing.
Since 2022, she has performed with **Team Kawachi Ondo**, the only Bon Odori band in Southern California, and recently began studying **Minyo** under Master Sato Matsutoyo.
At this special performance on **November 8**, Maaya will share her music, joined by **Naomi Ozawa** on shamisen for *Soran Bushi* from Hokkaido.
